Chy An Mordros is Cornish translates 'House where you can hear the sea'. An incredibly special home in one of the best locations on the planet.. although I may be a little biased! Away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hot spots yet close enough to access both coasts within 8 miles and dip into the more lively spots if you wish! It's a hidden gem! and we've not even mentioned the sunsets!
There are not many locations in the UK were you can coastal walk, run, surf, windsurf, kite, paddle board or just full on switch off and relax, all while your tea is still hot after leaving the front door under a minute earlier! Yes it is that special! No wonder it is known locally as 'the bay of plenty'
Located just 100m away from the clifftop and the famous South West Coastal Path, take a few extra footsteps down onto 3 miles of golden sand, breathtaking views and the some of the best surfing, in the UK! It's a sea lovers playground!
A stones throw from St Ives, and with over 20 surf spots within 15 minutes of the front door! Top golf courses and an abundance of places to visit. Welcome to heaven!

THE HOUSE

The house has 2 large rooms with ample storage, and a calming vibe. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and is big enough to add an extra bed should you require more! Bedroom 2 has a king size bed that can be split into two singles with sea views across neighbouring properties to Godrevy lighthouse. We hope you’re comfortable during your stay at Chy an Mordros.

Our Outside Zen area is the perfect place to kick back, relax and and listen to the waves crashing close by. After all Chy An Mordros stands for home where you can hear the sounds of the sea! The front garden is fully enclosed and with 2 grassed lawns so safe for young ones to play on!

Designed with your convenience in mind, there is a family dining area located next to the well equipped kitchen and sun room, perfect to enjoy breakfast and dinner whilst planning your next Cornish adventure! We understand that you may have to work while you are away so there is a tidy little desk and work area ready should you find the discipline to pull yourself away from the beach!

The sun room has a glass room, Perfect to soak up the rays and relax in the warm, or chill out with a hot chocolate watching the rain drops should the Cornish heavens open! It's not bad for star gazing either!
